Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of https://eagleremodelingservices.com and the design-build remodeling services provided by Eagle Remodeling Services LLC ("Eagle Home Improvements," "we," "us," or "our") in the State of Maryland. By accessing this website, requesting an estimate, or entering into a written agreement with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are and what we do

Eagle Remodeling Services LLC is a design-build residential remodeling firm headquartered in Crofton, Maryland. We hold:

  • Maryland Home Improvement Contractor License: MHIC #117311, issued by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) under the Maryland Department of Labor.
  • General liability insurance: $2M general liability, with current Certificate of Insurance available on written request.

We provide bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, basement finishing, home additions, whole-home renovations, flooring, painting, and drywall services to residential property owners across the State of Maryland only. We do not perform work outside Maryland.

2. Use of this website

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate consultation requests. By using the website you agree:

  • Not to use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, related systems, or networks.
  • Not to scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from this site for commercial use without prior written consent.
  • Not to upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code through any form or input field.

3. Estimates and contracts

Information provided on this website — including service descriptions, sample pricing ranges, project timelines, and case studies — is informational only and does not constitute a binding offer. A binding contractual relationship is created only when:

  • Both parties execute a written contract specific to the project scope, signed by an authorized representative of Eagle Home Improvements and the property owner.
  • The contract complies with the disclosure requirements of Maryland law, including the Maryland Custom Home Protection Act (Real Property Article §10-501 et seq.) and MHIC Home Improvement Contract Disclosures (Business Regulation Article §8-501 et seq.) as applicable.

4. Right to cancel (Maryland)

Under Maryland Commercial Law Article §14-301 et seq., you may have the right to cancel certain home improvement contracts within 5 business days of signing. Specific cancellation rights and procedures are disclosed in the written contract, including a notice of cancellation form.

5. Payments and pricing

All project pricing is fixed-price under a written contract executed before work begins. We do not bill hourly except for explicitly contracted time-and-materials repair work. Payment milestones are tied to project phases and are disclosed in the written contract. Maryland MHIC limits initial deposit to one-third (1/3) of total contract price under Business Regulation Article §8-606.

6. Warranty

Eagle Home Improvements provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on all renovation work, in addition to manufacturer warranties on all materials, fixtures, appliances, and systems installed. The 5-year workmanship warranty is signed at project completion and is transferable one time to a subsequent property owner within the warranty period at no cost. Specific terms, exclusions, and claim procedures are detailed in the warranty document provided at project closeout. The warranty does not cover damage from abuse, neglect, lack of routine maintenance, or third-party modifications after our work is complete.

7. Maryland Home Improvement Guaranty Fund

Maryland homeowners who hire MHIC-licensed contractors are eligible to file claims against the Maryland Home Improvement Guaranty Fund (Business Regulation Article §8-401 et seq.) for actual losses up to $20,000 per dwelling resulting from contractor fraud or workmanship that fails to meet minimum standards. Information about the Guaranty Fund is available from the Maryland Home Improvement Commission at labor.maryland.gov/license/mhic/.

8. Intellectual property

All website content — design, layout, photographs (including AI-generated and Creative Commons / Wikimedia attributed images), text, project case studies, schemas, and logos — is the property of Eagle Remodeling Services LLC, its licensors, or original copyright holders. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use is prohibited. Wikimedia Commons photographs used on city pages retain their original Creative Commons licenses, with author and license credit available on request.

9. Disclaimers

Information on this website is provided "as-is." While we strive for accuracy, pricing examples, timelines, and project specifications can change without notice. Sample pricing reflects 2026 market conditions and is not a quote for any specific project. Eagle Home Improvements disclaims all warranties (express or implied) regarding website accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose, except as required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eagle Remodeling Services LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of website use. Direct contractual liability for project work is governed exclusively by the written contract for that project. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from a project contract are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Maryland. Venue for disputes lies in the appropriate court in Crofton, Maryland or as agreed in the project contract.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The current version is always posted at this URL with an effective date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
